Jurassic Cruise to Bournemouth
Cruise from Swanage to Bournemouth along the Jurassic coast, on this delightful 1½ hour round-trip cruise. Option to land in Bournemouth for the day and return on a later boat.
This cruise departs from Swanage Pier and takes you across Swanage Bay, along the magnificent Jurassic Heritage Coast – England’s only natural UNESCO heritage site. As you sail in close to Old Harry Rocks the captain’s commentary will point out the major land heave that once separated this headland from the Isle of Wight.
The ship stops in Bournemouth, where you can land and spend a few hours exploring the town and beaches, before returning on a later boat.
The boats have wide open decks, comfortable lounges, washrooms and a fully licensed bar aboard serving freshly baked cakes, snacks, hot and cold beverages, real Purbeck Ales and much more.
