Jurassic Cream Tea Cruise to Swanage

Jurassic Cream Tea Cruise to Swanage

Cruise from Poole Quay or Bournemouth past Old Harry Rocks to Swanage on this delightful 1½ - 2 hour round-trip cruise. Option to land in Swanage and return on a later boat.

This cruise departs from either Poole Quay or Bournemouth Pier, taking you either through beautiful Poole Harbour or across the bay, to the Jurassic Heritage Coast. The cruise sails past Old Harry Rocks while the captain provides a lively and informative commentary, pointing out the great land heave that separated this headland from the Isle of Wight many years ago.

The Jurassic coast demonstrates 200 million years of coastal geology and is the only Natural UNESCO Heritage Site in England.

The boat docks in the quaint fishing village Swanage, where you have the option of landing and exploring the village, with its golden beaches, cultural heritage and historic buildings, before returning on a later boat. Alternatively you can stay aboard and enjoy the cruise back to your departure dock – either Poole Quay or Bournemouth.

The boats have wide open decks, comfortable lounges, washrooms and a fully licensed bar aboard serving freshly baked cakes, snacks, hot and cold beverages, real Purbeck Ales and much more.

Enjoy a cream tea onboard - Cream teas with freshly baked scones, clotted cream and preserve are served onboard. These can be pre-ordered for groups for £3.50 per person.

Relax in the tranquillity of the setting as you wander from Japanese to Italian gardens, in this true treasure of Dorset. Minimum group size 15
